AntWorks TvQuarium Gel Habitat
The AntWorks® TvQuarium provides a whole new alternative in reality TV. The AntWorks® TvQuarium is a remarkable new concept in educational toys. Cleverly disguised in its stylish black enclosure, the TvQuarium is designed to resemble a flat panel television. Totally encased in the TV like cabinet is a gently curved, trapezoid shaped gel filled habitat. Hidden from view in the bottom of the enclosure is a blue LED lighting unit that provides indirect illumination of the ant habitat. (The soft diffused lighting makes a great night light!) The TvQuarium has a clever open back design that allows for two totally different viewing options. Your child can replace the included backdrop/instruction sheet with their own choice of background. (Your youngster can even create their own artwork for their ants to admire as they take an occasional break from their industrious tunnel building.) With a background in place, your TvQuarium functions like a normal television with front only viewing. By removing the backdrop/instruction sheet, your TvQuarium transforms into an unobstructed see through view of the faceted 3D tunnels carved by your ant colonists. Based on the technology developed for the 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiments, the TvQuarium provides all of the nutrition and water necessary to support a healthy ant colony. As with all AntWorks® ant habitats, the TvQuarium is EASY to care for. In fact it is virtually maintenance free. With no need to add food or water to the habitat; ants housed in the TvQuarium are truly no fuss, no muss, no bother pets!
