While at a family picnic, I couldn't help but notice a colony of ants marching and foraging. This gave me the idea for an ant habitat that would allow children to watch these industrious little creatures up-close. Thinking back to how fascinated I was as a boy watching ants on my uncle's farm in Pennsylvania, I added a miniature farm scene and the famous trademark, Ant Farm, was created.
